What are the mooring conditions for visitors? The pontoons offer water, electricity, secure access, free wifi and a quiet environment close to the city centre. YCMN Community Life & Events The community life of the North Sea Yacht Club forms the core of its identity. In Dunkirk, the club brings together enthusiasts of sailing, cruising, fishing and motorboating, around a program of varied activities and unifying events. Each season, members participate in friendly gatherings, sea outings, local regattas, workshops and meetings designed to strengthen the coastal nautical community. Internal meetings and activities Members meet regularly for information sessions, themed workshops, social evenings, or gatherings organized at the clubhouse. These events provide an opportunity to welcome new members and maintain the momentum of the Dunkirk nautical club. Flotilla cruises The sailing section organizes cruises departing from Dunkirk, between the Opal Coast and Belgian ports. These supervised sailing trips are aimed at both beginner and experienced crews and promote learning, mutual support and progress. Regattas & competitions The sailing season includes several keelboat regattas, interclub challenges, and training sessions. Results and reports are published on the website and featured in the YCMN Gazette. Fishing & Motorboating Activities The club also offers outings dedicated to sea fishing and supervised powerboating activities. These sections have their own meeting times, tailored to powerboating enthusiasts.
